sudo apt-get install gtkam
And start the program from Applications / Graphics / Gtkam. In the Camera / Add camera ... menu, you can press "detect" to register your camera. The application is self-explaining for downloading / deleting the photos.http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2952334#post2952334
Thank you so much for your help! I just dug out my old Nikkai mini digital camera and thought "That'll be great for my little girl!" Following your instructions mad it work on Natty!
